The Pine Bluff Amateur Radio Club will host a field day beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday near the amphitheater and beach front area of Regional Park.
Field day activities include a picnic, camp out and amateur radio operators practising for emergencies.
Also called “ham” radio operators, participants are known for being able to use their equipment to communicate during disasters.
