An Altheimer woman was killed Saturday night after a traffic accident on U.S. 79 at Altheimer.
Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley identified the victim as Cynthia L. Powell, 59. She was pronounced dead at 7:45 p.m. by Deputy Coroner David Westbrook who listed the cause of death as multiple blunt force trauma.
