The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Delta Omega Omega Chapter, recently concluded their Reactivation Month filled with purpose energy, and heartfelt reconnections, according to a news release.
Chapter President Kelli Dixon expressed her appreciation to all members, both active and newly reactivated, for their dedication and sisterly spirit.
“Our chapter is truly blessed to have such enthusiasm, commitment, and love for one another,” Dixon said. “Seeing familiar faces return and new energy join our efforts was one of the most uplifting highlights of the month.”
The October chapter meeting was filled with joy, laughter and memorable moments, including a spontaneous dance that became one of the highlights of the reactivation campaign, according to the release.
Throughout the month, members embraced opportunities for leadership, service, and growth, reflecting the chapter’s guiding theme: “Serving as O.N.E. Optimistic, Nurturing, and Empowering.”

Membership Chairperson Nicole Bates emphasized that the chapter’s doors are always open for returning members.
“Reactivation is more than renewing membership,” Bates said. “It’s about rekindling bonds, continuing our legacy, and returning to being of service to all mankind.”
