AgHeritage announces scholarship winners

Allie M. Wynn is one of nine students to be awarded a $500 Customer Scholarship from AgHeritage Farm Credit Services. She is the daughter of Robert and Jenny Wynn. A senior at Star City High School, Wynn plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Monticello in the fall.

Wynn has affiliated herself with many leadership and athletic programs including: Beta Club, Math Club, Arkansas Young Artist Association, Yearbook Staff, basketball, track, and cheerleading. Throughout high school, Miss Wynn has repeatedly donated her services to several community programs including: canned food drives, Relay-For-Life, and Community Food Pantry. She has completed numerous Advanced Placement courses throughout high school and has even received college credit from the AP Biology Exam.

Other scholarship recipients are Cody S. Collins of Batesville, Jessica R. Whitaker of McGehee, Becca Burrow of Brinkley, Savannah Holman of Lonoke, Sydney C. Sutherland of Grubbs, Cole H. Hicks of Walnut Ridge, Cassandra R. Womack of Pleasant Plains, and Dagan S. Knoll of Almyra.

AgHeritage Farm Credit Services supports rural communities of Arkansas through programs that benefit the next generation of farmers. The scholarship program, which was established in 2001, is open to grandchildren and dependent children of AgHeritage Farm Credit Services. Recipients were chosen for their outstanding academic performance and school-related extracurricular activities.
