Several local agencies will be closed in observance of Christmas:
Jefferson County Courthouse: Closed today through Dec. 28.
Pine Bluff City Hall: Closed today through Friday.
White Hall City Hall: Closed Thursday and Friday.
Altheimer City Hall: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Liberty Utilities: Closed Thursday and Friday.
Waste Management: Closed Friday. Friday’s garbage will be picked up Saturday.
Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas will be closed Thursday and Friday. Southeast Arkansas Transportation will pick up clients with dialysis appointments and those that are being treated for cancer.
The state Capitol offices and all state buildings will be closed Thursday and Friday.
The Capitol will be open to the public to view the holiday decorations or take self-guided tours from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. those days, according to the Secretary of State’s Office.
