AgDiscovery deadline set for March 21

Applicants have until March 21 to apply for the AgDiscovery program, a residential career exploration program for students ages 14-17.

Students spend two weeks at a host university. Students selected for the session at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will attend June 11-24 and pay only the cost of transportation to and from UAPB.

Room and board and supplies are covered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, which extended the deadline.

Students must submit an application packet postmarked by March 21 to Sophia Kirby, USDA-APHIS AgDiscovery Program, Office of Civil Rights, Diversity and Inclusion, 4700 River Road, Unit 92, Suite 6C-04, Riverdale, MD 20737-1234.
