A community awareness fair/baby shower will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Center, 211 W. Third Ave.
Sponsors are ACCESS Inc., Tri-County Rural Health Network and the Jefferson County Birthing Project.
The awareness fair will include speakers, door-prizes and free clothes for infants and children, strollers, a swing and high chairs.
Although ACCESS will give away items at this event to pregnant and parenting teen mothers only, other vendors will also have free items, therefore women of all ages, who are pregnant or parenting are invited to attend.
“ACCESS Inc. is a teen pregnancy prevention agency that educates and empowers adolescents to make proud and responsible choices,” according to a news release.
