A new economy

Editor, The Commercial:

In the past year, companies and cities around the world with some of the fastest growth rates have been focused on data centers (AI) and the utilities (power grid) to support them. Interesting.

How is Pine Bluff aligning itself to participate in this economic volcano? Well, as you are most likely aware, Pine Bluff money and focus seem to be in a Go-Kart track and respective trappings. Not exactly the road map to achieve a juggernaut economy, now is it?

Pine Bluff is home to one of several companies that have the potential to be right in the middle of the growth tsunami. It is a transformer manufacturer with supporting training grounds. And in conjunction, we have a technical college to help sharpen the skills of our next generation, empowering students to change their lives, achieving a new level of potential.

What’s the chance Pine Bluff could join the revolution with the evolution of these assets — power grids and data centers to enhance the skills of our developing youth?

Interesting? Maybe. But first we might want to redirect our focus to not putting the cart before the horse and invest in a strong foundation that attracts people and businesses. … I don’t believe a Go-Kart track qualifies. C’Mon Man!!
