MONDAY:
- The Pine Bluff Razorback Club 2017 meeting will feature the Razorbacks Head Football Coach Bret Bielema at 5:30 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Country Club. The $50 prime rib dinner meeting will also feature others from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, including trainer Dean Webber. - The Jefferson County Quorum Court meets at 5:30 p.m. today. The main item on the agenda will be considering an ordinance to change the 2017 Metropolitan Emergency Communications Association (MECA) budget in order to give dispatchers a raise. During a meeting of the MECA board last Tuesday, Karen Blevins, coordinator of the Office of Emergency Management, who also oversees MECA, proposed eliminating two positions and moving other funds around to give a $2,000 raise to most dispatchers.

TUESDAY:
- The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library System board of trustees will meet at 5:15 p.m. at the main library at the civic center. A building committee meeting will also be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 11.
WEDNESDAY:
- The Faith Community Coalition of Pine Bluff plans to make a special announcement regarding Go Forward Pine Bluff. A press conference will be held at 10 a.m. at Lakeside United Methodist Church, 1500 S Olive St.
THURSDAY:
- The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library System board will hold a building committee meeting at 5 p.m. The event will be held in the main library board room at the civic center.
FRIDAY:
- Ark. Gov. Hutchinson will speak at 1:30 p.m. at Watson Chapel schools, 4000 S. Camden Road, as part of his Spring tour of Arkansas schools.
- Southeast Arkansas College’s 2017 Spring Commencement will be held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center arena at 7 p.m. Maria Markham, Ph.D, director of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, will give the commencement address.
SATURDAY:
- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Spring 2017 commencement speaker will be award-winning actress and director Phylicia Rashad. The free, public event will be held at 3 p.m. in the Pine Bluff Convention Center Arena.
