Due to the threat of severe weather across the area, the 5A and 6A state track meets scheduled for Thursday, May 2 have been moved up 24 hours. The meets will now be held on Wednesday, May 1, according to a news release from the Arkansas Activities Association.
All event times will remain at the scheduled time. Russellville is hosting the 5A state meet, while Fort Smith Southside will host the 6A state meet.
