Inspections are made unannounced by environmental health specialists.

AWESOME LIL WONDERS – PINE BLUFF, 1702 W. Sixth Ave. Date of inspection May 5. No test strips observed in establishment. Test strips must be available and used to test the strength of chemical sanitizing solutions. The bottom of the refrigerator is unclean. Nonfood contact surfaces shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris. The bottom of the refrigerator was cleaned during the inspection. 0 footcandles of light observed in the warewashing area and the dry storage room. Light bulbs were replaced or tightened to turn on during the inspection.

WATSON CHAPEL HIGH SCHOOL, 4000 Camden Road. Date of inspection May 8. Observed wiping cloths laying on counter top. Wiping cloths shall be used as intended and in compliance with Regulations pertaining to Retail Food establishment. Wiping cloths were placed in sanitizing solution during time of inspection.
GRIT & GRACE NUTRITION, 7000 Jefferson Parkway, White Hall. Date of inspection May 9. No paper towels observed in the restroom. Provide a supply of individual disposable towels or a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel or a heated-air drying device at each handwashing sink in food preparation, toilet and warewashing areas.
LITTLE CAESARS, 5801 Dollarway Road, Suite B. Date of inspection May 9. Observed trash cans containing food residue being stored uncovered when not in continuous use. Trash cans containing food residue should be covered when not in continuous use. Floors in establishment, especially under equipment and shelving, are unclean. Clean the physical facilities as often as necessary to keep them clean.
RALLY’S HAMBURGERS, 403 N. Blake St. Date of inspection May 9. Observed trash with no lid. Trash can must have a lid when not in continuous use.
WENDY’S, 2910 Pines Mall Drive. Date of inspection May 8. Beef (44 degrees F), cheese (45 degrees F), and butter (45 degrees F) in the walk in cooler, orange juice (44 degrees F) and blueberry juice mix (45 degrees F) in the small reach in cooler, and ranch dressing (49 degrees F) in the salad cooler are out of safe temperature range. Time/Temperature Control for Safety (TCS) Foods shall be kept cold at a temperature of 41.0°F or below, as measured by an internal probe thermometer, to limit bacterial growth. Complaint ID 12012 was addressed during the routine inspection.
