Watson Chapel report on agenda

The Watson Chapel School Board will meet Monday at the central office, 4100 Camden Road. The annual report to the public will be presented at 5:30 p.m. and the regular monthly board meeting will be held at 6 p.m., according to a news release.

Topics for the annual report include parent engagement, administrative accountability report, enrollment, staffing, curriculum and instruction and school reports. Details: (870) 879-0220.

Agency announces weekday lunches

The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas is serving lunches from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays at the senior centers. Lunches available next week are: Monday — Baked mushroom burger, stewed tomatoes, Au gratin potatoes, pineapples and milk.

Tuesday — Homemade chicken soup, broccoli/cauliflower salad, cornbread, Jell-O cake and milk.

Wednesday — Spaghetti/meat sauce, Italian vegetables, garlic biscuit, orange wedges and milk.

Thursday — Open face roast beef sandwich with gravy, mashed potatoes, California blend vegetables, fruit and milk.

Friday — BBQ pork on a bun, coleslaw, roasted potatoes, hot winter fruit and milk.

Simmons launches new digital offers

Simmons Bank announced enhancements to the digital banking platform that includes new features designed to allow customers the ability to make one-time credit card payments, instantly increasing their available credit and allowing for additional purchases immediately.

In addition, the bank has partnered with Zelle® to offer customers the ability to send and receive money with friends and family in the Simmons Bank mobile app or online banking platforms, according to a news release.
