The Strachota Senior Center, 801 E. Eighth Ave., a program of the Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas, offers lunch at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday as well as other activities.
Lunch menus include:
Monday, Sept. 30
Sausage with peppers and onions, tater gems, mixed beans, hot dog buns, pineapple tidbits and milk.
Tuesday, Oct. 1
Independent reporting for Pine Bluff & Jefferson County since 1879.
Chicken pot pie, lima beans, diced carrots, white bread, sugar cookie and milk.
Wednesday, Oct. 2
Chopped steak with mushrooms, buttered rice, green beans, wheat bread, Tapioca pudding and milk.
Thursday, Oct. 3
Senior center closed for Senior Day at the Southeast Arkansas District Livestock Show, Rodeo and Fair.
Friday, Oct. 4
Sliced turkey breast, turkey gravy, whipped potatoes, green peas, cornbread, apple slices, mustard, ketchup and milk.
Strachota exercise classes and activities include:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Jazzercise, aerobics, Walk away the Pounds, Sit-a-cise, advanced aerobics and line dancing.
Tuesday
Movement with Balance, Word Search, Dominoes, puzzles, Bingo and coloring.
Thursday
The senior center will be closed Oct. 3 for Senior Day at the Southeast Arkansas District Livestock Show, Rodeo and Fair at Hestand Stadium.
