The Ivy Center for Education College Readiness/Mentoring Program will hold its organizational meeting from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 913 University Drive.
The meeting will be an overview of the 2018/2019 Academic Excellence Programs, which include information about the upcoming ACT Prep Workshops, Careers in medicine/health (Club Scrub), Robotics/careers in engineering, Champions Reading Initiative for Athletes, 2019 Arkansas Field Studies Trip, and the 2019 College Tour.
Students in 7th-12th grades are encouraged to attend and parents are always welcome, according to a news release.
