Garden Pointe Assisted Living Facility, 7001 S. Hazel St., will honor its veterans at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10. The guest speaker will be Xavion Culclager, a candidate for Jefferson County sheriff. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served, according to a press release.
