The Jefferson County Board of Election Commissioners will meet Tuesday, June 13, to conduct a special election beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The board will remain in session until the chairman announces unofficial election results at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the Election Center, 123 Main St.
Commissioners will act to resolve any election day problems that arise and will be checking polling locations to ensure compliance with election laws and procedures, a spokesman said.
