The Pine Bluff-Jefferson County Economic Opportunities Commission will end the crisis portion of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program as of Friday, May 20. EOC will take continue taking applications from 8 a.m. to noon daily through Friday.
LIHEAP offers people help with paying home energy bills. EOC administers LIHEAP in Jefferson, Grant, Cleveland, Arkansas and Lincoln counties.
