Senior schedule

Activities planned Monday through Friday at the Strachota Senior Center, 801 E. Eighth Ave., are:

Monday

Beginning aerobics, low-impact exercise, video exercise, aerobics by Bobbie Gurnsey and lunch.

Tuesday

Coffee, paint and craft time and lunch.

Wednesday

Beginning aerobics, low-impact exercise, video exercise, aerobics by Bobbie Gurnsey, blood pressure and blood sugar checks and lunch.

Thursday

Coffee, dominoes, paint therapy, beanbag baseball and lunch.

Friday

Beginning aerobics, low-impact exercise, video exercise, aerobics by Bobbie Gurnsey and lunch.

Various exercise equipment is free for use by senior citizens at the Strachota Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additional information about the activities at the Strachota Center is available by calling 543-6323.

Senior Center menu:

Monday

Breaded chicken with gravy, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, fresh apple and milk.

Tuesday

Beef chili with beans, parslied rice, cabbage, saltine crackers, chocolate chip cookie and milk.

Wednesday

Chicken dumplings, field peas, glazed carrots, white bread, glazed yellow cake and milk.

Thursday

Hamburger patty, brown gravy, whipped potatoes, okra and tomatoes, dinner roll, oatmeal cookie and milk.

Friday

Barbecue rib patty, baked beans, coleslaw, hamburger bun, peach cobbler and milk.
