The roads that were repaired by the Jefferson County Road Department were as follows:
June 6
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes in Dogwood Road, Wilderness Road with cold mix.
• Truck Driver: Hauled four loads of SB2 to Summers Road. Hauled one load of SB2 to Nesby Road. Hauled one load of washed rock to Mail Route Road.
• Grader Operators: Graded Walker Road, Watson Road, McEntire Road, McDonley Road, Mulberry Grove Road, Longbell Road, Pipeline Road, Adamson Road, Boudra Drive, O.C. Drive, Gray Road, Willis Road, Liska Road, Adams Road and Freeman Road. Graded Mail Route Road and spread washed rock on the road. Graded Summers Road and spread four loads of SB2 on the road. Graded Nesby Road and spread one load of SB2 on the road.

• Boom Mower Crew: Cleaned out the ditches on Bitely Road and Sell Davis Road. Cut right of way on Bugle Road.
• Sign Shop: Put signs on bridges on Jim Ford Road, Pinebergen Road and two signs by the bridge on Gibb Anderson Road. Raised pavement markers were put down on Harmony Church Road and a tree was cut and removed off West Baldwin Road.
• Environmental Officer: Checked roads in Jefferson County for illegal dumping.
June 7
• Sign Shop: Put stop sign on McFadden Road. Moved stop sign on West 6th Street. Patched potholes on Grider Field Ladd Road and Gibb Anderson Road.
June 9
Moving equipment is a very time consuming part of our job at the Jefferson County Road Department. Every time a job is completed, the equipment is moved to another part of Jefferson County to start a new job. Many of our employees were busy with this task this week.
• Bridge Crew: Checked bridges on Altheimer East Road, Wilson Road and Blue Rock Road. Sprayed around the bridges to kill weeds.
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes on Island Harbor Road, Wilderness Road, Handley Road, Hunter Drive and Wolfe Road.
• Culvert Crew: Checked and pulled pipes on River Road, Kesterson Road and Sullivan Road. Cleaned out culverts on Grider Field Road and checked culverts in the Tucker and Redfield area.
• Grader Operators: Due to all the rains in Jefferson County, the roads were inspected for wash outs and debris on the roads.
• Boom Operator: Cut right-of-way on Rosswood Road.
• Sign Shop: Put sign on Gilliand Road. Put road sign on McFadden Road. Put road sign and stop sign on McCormick Road.
June 10
• Bridge Crew: Checked around bridges on Morgan Road and Reed Lake Road.
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes with cold mix on Ussery Road and Woodland Road.
• Truck Driver: Hauled SB2 from Little Rock to the Jefferson County Road Department.
• Grader Operators: Graded Old Star City Road.
• Boom Mower Crew: Cut right of way on South Evans Road and cut grass in ditches on Richmond Core Road.
• Sign Shop: Put road sign on Swan Lake Recreational Road, put bridge delineator sign by the bridge on Hazel Street and Middle Warren Road.
• Environmental Officer: Checked Jefferson County roads for illegal dumping and trashy yards.
June 11
• Bridge Crew: Checked bridges on Princeton Pike, Watkins Road, Ferda Road and West Vaugine Road.
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes on NCTR Road, Hardin Reed Road, Providence Road, Lowman Road and Ramick Road.
• Truck Driver: Hauled 12 yards of SB2 to Middle Warren Road and 12 yards of SB2 to Reed Lake Road.
• Culvert Crew: Installed a 12-foot-by-20-foot culvert on Middle Warren Road and covered it with 12 yards of SB2. Installed a 12-foot-by-16-foot culvert on Reed Lake Road and covered it with 12 yards of SB2.
• Grader Operators: Graded State Farm Road, Bennett Road, Peaceful Valley Road, Ty Lane, Sunny Circle, Gibb Anderson Road, Swan Lake Recreational Road and Cornerstone Road. Graded Bruce Trail and spread SB2 on the road.
• Boom Mower Crew: Mowed grass on Grider Field Ladd Road and mowed grass at the intersection of Princeton Pike and Hardin Reed Road.
• Sign Shop: Put bridge delineators on Dyson Road and Monk Road. Flagged for the crew working on Princeton Pike.
• Environmental Officer: Checked roads for illegal dumping and trashy yards.
June 12
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes on Brinkley Road and Wilbur West Road with cold mix.
• Grader Operators: Setting up Gilliand Road/ground up the pavement and mixed it with oil and rolled it out to set up for further resurfacing. Graded Knotts Island Road, Altheimer East Road, Wilson Road, Sell Davis Road, Celia Road, Osborn Road and Grider Field Ladd Road.
• Boom Mower Crew: Cut grass on State Farm Road, Wilbur West Road, Sell Davis Road and Gibb Anderson Road. Cut right of way on Donna Road, Moore Road, Hargis Road, Allbritton Road, Azalea Hill Drive, Liska Road. Sprayed around the bridges on Watkins Road, Good Faith Road, Old Star City Road, Gibb Anderson Road and Pinebergen Road.
• Sign Shop: Put road signs on Morgan Road, Earl Chadick Road and Joe T. Henslee Road.
Jefferson County Recycling Report
• Brought in eight tire boxes, four cardboard/paper boxes and two trash boxes.
• Brought three trash trailers in. Sent three trash trailers out.
• Jefferson County brought in 30.58 tons of tires. Get Rid of It/Waste Management brought in 36.92 tons of tires.
• Continued operating the collection site near Taylor Field.
