A Pine Bluff man was shot while working in his yard Wednesday afternoon in central Pine Bluff and police have no suspects in the incident.
David Munson, 47, received a non-life threatening wound to the right thigh and was being treated at Jefferson Regional Medical Center Wednesday afternoon, Officer Richard Wegner said.
Wegner said Munson was in his yard at 404 S. Oak St. and told police he “heard a pop and felt a sting in his leg.”
According to police, Munson said he saw a black car pass his house but the car did not speed away and a black male walking down the railroad tracks but the man did not have anything in his hand and did not run from the area.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the detective division at 730-2090 or the dispatch center at 541-5300 and all calls will be kept confidential.
