Weekly Jefferson County Road Department and Recycling Report
May 3
• Bridge Crew: Limbs were cut on Princeton Pike. Checked the bridge on Sell Davis Road and cut debris from around the pipes. Cut right of way on Sunset Road and Boys Training School Road.
• Patching Crew: Cleaned out a pipe on Earl Chadick Road and filled potholes on Kearney Road.
• Truck Drivers: Pushed tire chips into a hole to bury them at the recycling center and hauled 30 loads of dirt to cover the tire chips.

• Grader Operators: Cleaned out culverts on Wolf Road, NCTR Road, Reynolds and Pinto Road. Graded roads in the Redfield area.
• Ditching Crew: Cleaned out pipe on Highway 425 and County Line Road.
• Boom Mower Crew: Cut grass on Townsend Drive and Earl Chadick Road.
• Sign Shop: Made and put up speed limit sign on Old Warren Road. Checked roads off of Highway 104, Whippoorwill Drive, Wagon Trace, Meadow Pond and Old Warren Road. Worked in shop making signs.
• Environmental Officer: Checked for illegal dumping on Thomas Road, Sunset, Kearney, Osborn, Glissandi, Vassaur Road, Harvey, Rob Roy, Chalmette and Cantrell Road.
May 6
• Bridge Crew: Checked the bridge on Earl Chadick Road, Watkin Road, Morrow Road and Ray Dean Road. Trees and debris were cut from around the bridge. A right of way was cut on Jamie Lane and Rosswood Road.
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes on Jamie Drive.
• Culvert Crew and Heavy Equipment Operators: Building pad at the sheriff’s office. A hold was dug at the recycling center to bury tire chips.
• Truck Drivers: Hauled mud out of area at sheriff’s office and hauled in two loads of dirt to fill in the area where the pad is being built. Hauled 52 yards of gravel to Bayou Meto Recreational Road. Hauled one load of stone rock to the recycling center. Hauled tire chips to be buried at the recycling center.
• Grader Operators: Graded Ty Lane, Griderfield Road, Pointer Road, Wright, McGaughy, Reydell, Bayou Meto, Minton, Buttermilk and part of Huntley Road. Spread one load of gravel on Ty Lane. Graded Gorman, Kinley Drive, Hardin Park Road, Tank Road, Richard Alan and Stardust Trail.
• Ditching Crew: Cleaned out the ditches on Tabernacle Road.
• Boom Mower Crew: Cut grass on Earl Chadick and Vaugine Road, McKinney, Townsend Road, West Clements, Jamie and Alex Brown Road.
• Sign Shop: Made and put up a speed limit sign and a slow, children playing sign on Chaney Road in the Redfield area. Checked the signs on River Road. Put sign up on Pine Cone Lane. Checked road signs on Rob Roy Road and off of Highway 79 north across the river.
May 7
• Bridge Crew: Checked bridge on Earl Chadick Road and Mitchell Road where trees and debris were cut from around the bridge. Cut right of way on Rosswood Road and cleared away trees at the fire station on Middle Warren Road.
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes on Morgan Road.
• Culvert Crew: Cleaned out four culverts on Village Drive.
• Heavy Equipment Operators: Worked on the pad at the sheriff’s office. Hauled away concrete and hauled dirt to spread on the pad. Also worked at the recycling center pushing tires together.
• Truck Drivers: Buried 34 loads of tire chips at the recycling center. Hauled four loads of gravel to the jail site.
• Grader Operators: Graded Ladd Road, Deep Bayou, Walton, half of McEntire Road. Graded Poplin, Fite Road, Stone Road, Laura Lane and half of Bruce Trail. Graded Bayou Meto Recreational Road and Hannaberry Road and worked at the fire station on Middle Warren Road.
• Ditching Crew: Ditches were cut on Chandler Road, Shannon Petty Road, Middle Warren Road and Rosswood.
• Boom Mower Crew: Mowed ditches in the Wright area, Earl Chadick, Morrow, Ray Dean Road and West Clement Road. • Sign Shop: Made a one call report for East Pointer Road and Providence Road to put signs up. A stop sign was put back up on Randle Road. A barrel was placed on Rosswood Road where a pipe caved in. Checked road signs on Providence Road.
• Environmental Officer: Checked for illegal dumping and trashy yards on Bugle Drive, Old Warren Road, Middle Warren Road, Rosswood, Divoky, Weekly, Pine Cone Lane, Whitmore, Donham, Gibbins, Chickasaw Road, Ryburn and Sorrells Road.
May 8
• Bridge Crew: Checked bridge on Wilson Road and cut and burned the trees and debris from around the bridge. Cut right of way on Hazel Street Extension and Bugle Road.
• Patching Crew: Patched Morgan Road, Wilderness and Pine Cone with cold mix.
• Culvert Crew: Filled wash out on East Pointer Road and spread five yards of gravel on the area that was repaired.
Heavy Equipment Operators: Buried 81 loads of tires at the recycling center.
• Truck Drivers: Hauled gravel to Huntley Trail and Gravel Pit Road. Hauled red gravel to Bruce Trail. Twenty-seven loads of tire chips hauled to the back of the recycling center to bury.
• Grader Operators: Graded Lucie Road, Acorn and Bayou Meto Recreational Road. Graded Huntley Trail and spread four loads of gravel on the road. Graded Gravel Pit Road and spread two loads of gravel. Graded Bruce Trail and spread two loads of gravel.
• Ditching Crew: Cleaned out ditches on Mail Route Road and Chandler Road. Cleaned gravel out of the ditch on Hudson Road.
• Boom Mower Crew: Cut grass in the Wright area, Clement Road and Rosswood Road.
• Sign Shop: Made and put up signs on Longbell Road and Garrett Road and Longbell and East Altheimer Road. Checked road signs in the Altheimer and Wabbaseka area.
• Environmental Officer: Checked for illegal dumping and trashy yards on Rogers Road, Shine, Spring Lake, Cross Road, Camden Cut Off, Peaceful Valley Road, Harmony Church Road and Ramick Road.
May 9
• Bridge Crew: Checked bridge on Gilland Road and Clemmons Road. Trees and debris were cut from around the bridges.
• Patching Crew: Filled potholes with cold mix on Pine Cone and Divoky Road.
• Culvert Crew and Heavy Equipment Operators: Put 18 yards of gravel on three culverts on Mabry Road.
• Truck Drivers: Buried 44 loads of tire chips at the recycling center. Hauled 20 yards of gravel to Chaney Road to be spread on the road.
• Grader Operators: Gibb Anderson Road, Reba, McEntire, County Line Road, Revils Road, Scroggins, Gibson and Wrape Road. Graded Chaney Road and put two loads of gravel on the road.
• Boom Mower Crew: Mowed ditches on Morrow Road, Watkins, Fisher-Adams, Archer, Joe T. Henslee, Marion and Maynard, Gibb Anderson, Reba, McEntire and County Line Road.
• Sign Shop: Put two chevron signs up on Shannon Petty Road. Put three stop signs up at the intersection of Lee Springs Road and Providence Road and reflectors were put on the signs.
