Senior Schedule

Lunch is served, and activities planned Monday through Friday at the Coretta Scott King Senior Citizens Center at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park and the Bradshaw Senior Citizens Center, 801 E. Eighth Ave.

Here is the King Center’s schedule of activities for this week.

Monday

Bingo, exercise and lunch.

Tuesday

Nature Center, exercise and lunch.

Wednesday

Council meeting, exercise and lunch.

Thursday

Nutrition with Vanessa W. Evans, exercise and lunch.

Friday

Exercise and lunch.

Transportation is provided daily to and from the King center. Persons needing transportation may call 543-6282.

Here is the Bradshaw Center’s schedule of activities for this week.

Monday

Coffee/dominoes, aerobics for seniors by Bobbie Gurnsey, exercise and lunch.

Tuesday

Coffee/dominoes, exercise, blood pressure and blood sugar checks and lunch.

Wednesday

Coffee/dominoes, aerobics for seniors by Bobbie Gurnsey, exercise and lunch.

Thursday

Coffee/dominoes, exercise, lunch and 1 p.m. AARP meeting.

Friday

Coffee/dominoes, aerobics for seniors by Bobbie Gurnsey, exercise, lunch and monthly dance from 6-9 p.m.

Various exercise equipment is free for use by senior citizens at the Bradshaw Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additional information about the activities at the Bradshaw center is available by calling 870-543-6323.

Breaded pork patty, country gravy, cut yams, green beans, wheat bread, oatmeal raisin cookie and milk

Tuesday

Fiesta beef with rice, country corn, green peas, white bread, fresh orange and milk

Wednesday

Turkey ham and Swiss wrap, macaroni salad, cucumber salad, fresh fruit, mustard and milk

Thursday

Oven fried chicken, baked beans, cabbage, white bread, vanilla creme cookies and milk

Friday

Sloppy joe, cheesy whipped potatoes, baby carrots, hamburger bun, chocolate cake and milk
