UAPB to offer robotics institute

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will offer a Robotics/Nanoscience Institute June 18-29 geared toward teachers in many areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

“Nanotechnology integrates scientific and technology concepts from both the physical and life sciences and is easily related to curricula across STEM fields,” a spokesman said.

Teachers will learn in a hands-on learning environment and be trained to perform nanoscience experiments in the classroom.

To register for the institute, call Shelton Fitzpatrick at 575-8752.
