Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church at Noble Lake will hold its 148th church anniversary will be at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Theartis Neal, pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church at Marshall, Texas.

Free Gift Missionary Baptist Church at Dumas will hold its 124th church homecoming at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Archie Dolls, pastor of Westside Missionary Baptist Church.

Mulberry Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 719 S. Ohio St., will hold its choir anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Theotis Shelton, pastor of First Baptist Church at Harrell.

The second pastoral anniversary honoring pastor and wife, Rev. Gabriel and Alisha Jackson, will begin with a pre-anniversary celebration at 7 p.m. Friday at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 8525 Princeton Pike. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Aaron Johnson, pastor of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at Moscow will celebrate its 13th anniversary honoring Rev. Stanley and Tina Blair. Today at 6:30 p.m., the guest speaker for Pastor’s Wife Night will be Jacqueline Jones of New St, Hurricane Baptist Church. Sunday, the morning speaker will be Rev. Ervin Batemon of Kindling Star Church. At 2:30 p.m., the guest preacher for the anniversary service will be the Rev. Lorenzo Jones, pastor of New St. Hurricane.

Concerts/Musicals

Mount Zion Baptist Church at Faith will hold its second annual Christmas fund men’s singing program at 2 p.m. Sunday. Words of encouragement will be by the Rev. Jermain Smith of Rose Hill Church at Pine Bluff.

The second anniversary honoring the Rev. T.W. Scott and the Singing Revs will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. today at Allen Temple AME Church, 1125 S. Virginia St. The featured guests will be the St. Paul Praise Dancers. Other guests will include: Kim Pettus and Friends, Totally Committed, Revived, Barnes Sisters, Another Chapter, Spiritualettes, Sweet Melody, Minister Chilton Blunt and Willing, Shaw Boyz, Pure Purpose, and Kendrick Williams Jr.

There is Hope Church of God in Christ music department will host Praise Jam 2011 featuring Preashea Hillard, Dedric Jones, Arkansas Baptist College Choir, and more at 6 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, 717 W. 32nd Ave. A VIP Banquet will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today. B and M Productions will present Lee Williams and the Spiritual Q’cees of Tupelo, Miss., the Racy Brothers of Dumas, Bishop Kenneth Robinson and Chosen of Little Rock, and the Gospel Angels of Little Rock at the El Dorado Municipal auditorium in El Dorado at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Special Events

First Baptist Church at Rison will hold its appreciation program for its musician at 6 p.m. today. The guests will be the Rison Community Choir.

St. Andrew Missionary Baptist Church at Altheimer will hold its annual harvest drive at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Graylon Wilson of Second Baptist Church at Wabbaseka.

The Moments of Truth Evangelistic Ministries, 116 S. Plum St., will host an evangelistic program at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Kim Jones Sneed.

Ordination services for Rev. Victor Evans and Rev. Darnell Henderson will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2121 W. 26th Ave. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Arnold Robinson, pastor of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church.

Main Street Church of God in Christ, 2901 S. Main St., will hold its annual Sunday School Day at 11 a.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be Elder Ervin Dennis of First Trinity Church of God in Christ.

Evangelistic Outreach Ministries, 620 L. A. “Prexy” Davis Drive, will present the citywide men’s conference 2011 “Kingdom MENtality” at 7 nightly with these speakers:

Sunday — Jonathan Davis, an apostle, and Jessica Davis, a prophet, of Kingdom Seekers International Ministry of Arts at Memphis.

Monday — Rev. Willie Edwards, pastor of International House of Praise.

Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church at Gould will hold its annual harvest drive and Tut’s Toy for Tots at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Rev. Ben Johnson, advocate for Stop the Violence at Little Rock.

Cherry Street AME Zion Church, 800 Cherry St., will hold its annual Sanctuary Choir’s Christmas Candlelight Service at 5 p.m. Sunday. The musical celebration will depict the birth of Jesus through songs and scripture readings.

Bethel New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2522 N. Pryce St., will hold its Fill the Pew service at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Orlando Freeman of Mount Zion Church at Malvern. Communion Service will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
