Two area students were among officers elected to the Student Government Association (SGA) for the 2020-21 academic year at Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia.
• Austin Bowen is a junior middle school education major from Redfield. Bowen will serve as the secretary/treasurer for SGA.
• Zipporah Bell is a junior public health/psychology major from Monticello. Bell will serve as the senator for the College of Science and Engineering for the SGA.
Members of SGA represent the student body at SAU, act as liaisons to colleges and administration and are involved in the coordination of homecoming activities and community service. Details: web.saumag.edu.
