16-year-old to be charged as adult in alleged robbery

A 16-year-old Pine Bluff boy will be charged with robbery as an adult after he was identified by one of the alleged victims from a photo lineup.

Terrance Reynolds was one of two men who allegedly robbed three people at gunpoint on May 28, Detective Larry Gailey said in a probable cause affidavit.

According to the affidavit, the three alleged victims were walking in the area of East Greenway Drive and North Greenway Drive when they were approached by two males, one who was unknown to the alleged victims and the other was known to be Reynolds.

Gailey said in the affidavit that the alleged victims told police Reynolds pulled a handgun and told the alleged victims to empty their pockets, and when the alleged victims “froze” Reynolds allegedly said “he was not playing” and would shoot.

The alleged victims then emptied their pockets and Reynolds and the other male took an iPhone and $15 cash before running from the area.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $20,000 bond for Reynolds after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with three counts of aggravated robbery and one misdemeanor count of theft of property. Reynolds was also ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims until the case is settled.

Attorney Jackie Harris of McKissic and Associates appeared in court and said his firm would represent Reynolds.
