150 students attend Pine Bluff Junior Leadership Conference

The Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce announced that the 2025 Pine Bluff Junior Leadership Conference was a success.

The conference was held Aug. 28 at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff STEM Conference Center.

This year, the Chamber welcomed 150 students from the Watson Chapel School District, Friendship Aspire, White Hall School District, Pine Bluff School District and Little Rock School District, according to the Chamber newsletter.

Students had the opportunity to learn from a panel of speakers who covered topics such as:

Healthy decision-making and personal well-being

Professional dress and presentation

Financial literacy and money management

Career pathways and stories of success from leaders across multiple employment sectors.

“We extend a special thank you to our dedicated committee of volunteers, as well as the school district counselors and career coaches who ensured students could attend,” according to the newsletter.

Because of their commitment, the conference was free to participating students.

“The Chamber is excited to continue building this program and looks forward to making the Pine Bluff Junior Leadership Conference an annual event that inspires and prepares the next generation of leaders,” according to the newsletter.
