The Voices of Children and New Community Church invites the public to bring their children to a “Stop the Bloodshed” rally from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday on the parking lot of the old Food King, 16th Avenue and Cherry Street.
The purpose is to raise awareness that violence is impacting children. Residents are urged to come by and show support, a spokesman said.
