LITTLE ROCK — State lottery officials say someone bought a Powerball ticket worth a $1 million prize at a Kroger in west Little Rock.
The winner will not be identified until the prize is collected, officials said. No one won the jackpot in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, so the jackpot has increased to $66 million.
Twelve people have previously won prizes of $1 million or more by playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, which launched in September 2009.
